Washington, DC – Former U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, President and CEO of Ervin Graves Strategy Group (EGSG) announced today that Matt Marsh has joined EGSG as a Research Associate to support the government affairs practice.

Matt was competitively selected among multiple candidates to participate in the firm’s Graduate to Government (G2G) Accelerator Program which was created earlier this year to cultivate opportunities for young professionals and provide the added benefit of support through research and analysis for the firm.

“EGSG looks forward to having Matt join the team and we are thrilled to see the continued success of the G2G program,” said Graves. “Matt’s prior experience as a government affairs intern and relevant studies will be of great benefit on behalf of our clients.”

Managing Director Joe Kasper added, “since the launch of the G2G program, we’ve been thrilled by the talent and diversity of candidates, their ambition for professional growth, and eagerness to contribute. The team is excited to benefit from Matt’s perspectives and insights.”

Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Matt joins EGSG after recently graduating from Hampden-Sydney College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Government with a Minor in Leadership in the Public Interest. Matt also previously worked at Coherus BioSciences in the summer of 2021 as a Government Affairs Intern where he supported the company’s efforts to better secure the medical supply chain.

Matt said, “I am excited to join EGSG during this time of growth and I look forward to contributing to the team’s work while expanding my knowledge of government relations.”
