Washington, DC – Former U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, President and CEO of Ervin Graves Strategy Group, announced today that Ali Rizvi joined the firm as a Research Associate.
“Ali’s background in defense policy and finance, along with his international perspective, makes him a valuable addition to our team,” said Graves. “His experience on Capitol Hill and in defense consulting will serve our clients well.”
Rizvi is completing a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Business Analytics at American University’s Kogod School of Business. He previously served as a Financial & Defense Analyst at Bramer Group, where he focused on lobbying strategies related to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), foreign military sales (FMS), and defense appropriations. Rizvi also interned in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman Trent Kelly (MS-01) and Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04).
In addition to his academic and professional experience, Rizvi is the co-founder and a board member of the Collegiate Institute for Middle East Affairs (CIMEA). Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, he brings a unique international perspective to his work in defense and government relations.
