Washington, DC – Former U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, President and CEO of Ervin Graves Strategy Group, announced today that Tim Baker has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Over the many years working with Tim, I’ve witnessed his remarkable leadership, integrity, and commitment in every task he takes on,” said Graves. “16 years ago, Tim successfully built my first campaign for Congress, navigating four elections in just 91 days. Following my election, he quickly built my Congressional office, recruiting a team from scratch that supported both me and my constituents. Tim later replicated this success for Congressman Rick W. Allen, and at Ervin Graves, he continues to ensure our team performs at its best. I look forward to watching Tim build upon the foundation we’ve established—promoting teamwork, operational excellence, and growth that truly benefits our clients.”

Baker is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he began his political career as Political Director for then-Congressman Saxby Chambliss’ re-election campaign. He then moved to Washington, D.C., where he has spent more than 25 years in the political arena working government affairs, political committees, and for multiple Members of Congress, including serving as Graves’ Chief of Staff.

“I am grateful for Tom’s confidence in me to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Ervin Graves,” said Baker. “It is a great opportunity, and I am eager to support our talented team and lead this organization into its next chapter of growth and success.”
