Matt is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he earned a Bachelor’s in Government and minor in Leadership in the Public Interest. As an undergraduate he served as Student Body Secretary-Treasurer and wrote his senior thesis on the effect of new media on the behavior of the Executive Branch. He also completed a fellowship with the Wilson Center for Leadership in the Public Interest.
Prior to joining EGSG Matt interned with Coherus BioSciences on their Government Affairs team. There, he supported efforts to advance medical supply chain security and biosimilar production priorities. Matt is originally from Virginia Beach, VA and now resides in Alexandria.
