Matt helps clients navigate the intersection of federal policy and commercial strategy, with a focus on energy, environment, and interior issues, trade and tariff policy, and federal appropriations and procurement. At Ervin Graves Strategy Group, he works with clients to understand how congressional action shapes their regulatory and competitive environment and develop strategies that turn policy developments into practical advantage.
Matt’s work spans the full range of federal engagement, from tracking agency rulemaking to developing strategies around congressional appropriations and procurement priorities. He is comfortable moving between the technical details of a policy debate and the political dynamics of a committee markup.
Prior to joining Ervin Graves, Matt completed a government affairs internship at Coherus BioSciences. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, Class of 2022.
