Tim Baker

Director of Operations

Tim is an experience manager, utilizing his years as a Chief of Staff for three Members of Congress to coordinate and execute the inner office functions that support the Ervin Graves team’s interaction with a broadly diverse client portfolio. He is best known for the management approach he takes: hands-on, daily interaction, and specializing in the planning, organizing and executing of office operations, and ensuring teams are efficient and working together.

While attending Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, Tim got his start in politics, working as a Political Director for then-Congressman Saxby Chambliss’ re-election campaign. After that election and graduating with a degree in Political Science from Mercer, Tim moved to Washington, D.C. His experience spans 20 plus years working for multiple Members of Congress, including serving as Chief of Staff to Ervin Graves’ President and CEO, former Congressman Tom Graves.

To his three sons, Jackson, Barrett and Crawford, he’s “Dad,” and around the Fort Hunt, Virginia area where he lives, he’s known as “Coach Baker,” where you’ll find him either coaching Little League baseball or working on a baseball field. He usually spends weekends racing from field-to-field and cheering on his ballplayers.
